Thakur Education Group celebrated 74th Republic Day on 26th January 2023, showcasing Naari Shakti- Women Empowerment as a theme. During the celebration, Thakur Institute of Management Studies and Research (TIMSR) represented women entrepreneurs and the women in corporate and business, stating their notable contributions to the nation.
Further, the National Flag was hoisted by the Chief Guest – Mr. V K Singh, Chairman - TEG. All Teaching & Non-teaching staff, students joined together in singing of the National Anthem, Jana Gana Mana. The event also witnessed a display of Naari Shakti in distinct platoons, where all girls were dressed as famous and inspiring women, TIMSR represented 15 corporate women namely Ghazal Alag, Namita Thapar, Vineeta Singh, Vandana Luthra, etc.
There was also a showcase of Indian Army Gun Fight by the NCC members which enthralled all the spectators, present on the ground. Announcements of achievements of all Thakur Colleges in all areas were made to highlight the talents of students. At the end, the event was followed by refreshments for all the members and participants.
